Epidermal Peels

Epidermal Peels

What Is An Epidermal Peel?

Epidermal peels, also referred to as chemical peels, use various ingredients to exfoliate the skin, stimulate collagen production and brighten skin tone. The most common peels use lactic acid, glycolic acid and/or salicylic acid. The treatment takes 30 minutes. You may experience some mild tingling while the peel is being applied to your skin. Minor peeling and flaking the day after treatment is also common.

To achieve the best results from epidermal peels, a series of 6 treatments 2 to 4 weeks apart is usually recommended. This will provide you with gradual, natural improvement with excellent long-term results. Makeup can be applied immediately afterwards and with no down time it is a great treatment to book during your lunch hour.
